Before you lambaste me for the title of this post, before you judge me for using Netflix as a babysitter, let me be as clear as crystal here: Netflix is a parent’s best friend not because it can act as babysitter while you get some stuff down around the house or take that conference call from home without the sound of childhood mayhem in the background. Although, hey, no judging here, you do what you’ve gotta do. But in this house, Netflix is a parent’s new best friend because of their massive library of kids movies and the ever-growing lineup of outstanding original family programming, all for $8 per month.
My girls and I recently discovered two gems and are giddy about a third that will have arrived by the time you read this.
